Description
Sklar's® Vannas Scissors are most commonly used in ophthalmic and neurosurgical procedures. Ophthalmologically, they are used in iridectomy, cataract, and capsulotomy procedures. In neurosurgery, they are commonly used for tumor and cyst removal. The blades of these scissors are extremely small and sharp, designed for use on specific tissues. The blade can also be seen clearly under a microscope when used as a component of surgery. This product has jaws that are angled on flat with delicate blades, and an overall length of 3 inches. The handle features horizontal grooves that allow a firm hold on the instrument and increased user control.
