Description
Sklarlite™ Mayo-Hegar Needle Holders are a ratcheted, finger ring instrument available in a wide range of lengths, and used in multiple types of surgical procedures. Due to it's versatility, it is one of the most commonly used surgical tools for both human and animal procedures. Shorter length products may be used in oral, gynecological, or dermatological procedures, as well as with small animals. Larger lengths of this product may be used for deep tissue suturing such as in bariatric procedures, or in large animal procedures. The Mayo-Hegar needle holder is commonly used with larger, heavier suture needles because of it's wide jaws. Sklarlite™ instruments are a lighter version of standard Sklar instruments that provide the surgeon with greater control and less fatigue. This product is straight with serrated jaws, and measures 7 inches.
