Description
Sklar Black™ Guthrie Hook is a double-prong tissue hook used for handling and retracting tissue. They are often used in dermatologic and plastic surgery procedures but the tiny hooks also make this retractor useful in ophthalmologic and intranasal procedures. It is straight with two sharp, hooked, prong tips. The Guthrie is available in two different prong sizes, and 2 overall lengths. Sklar Black™ Laser instruments feature a non-reflective black polymer coating applied over the sandblasted instrument developed specifically for laser surgeries. This safe, durable coating reduces laser reflection to less than one-tenth of a percent, ensuring a safer surgical environment for patients and surgical staff. All Sklar Black™ coated instruments comply with biological testing requirements for cytotoxicity, sensitization regulatory, and ISO 10993 requirements.
